This day grows dim. Dark is the ground we walk upon.
This ever changing sky. This horizon gently faded.
Black is the night.
(Yet dawn will arise)
This day grows dim. Dark is the ground we walk upon.
This ever changing sky. This horizon gently faded.
Black is the night.
(Yet dawn will arise)
Love Divine
Please shine
And lift this sinking soul of mine
Love Divine
In your sweet light
I’ll dance into the dying night
MIST
Early in the morning, before the sun rises
I gather myself above the path of gravel
Before the day brings forth surprises
Before weary men begin to travel
There i wait for her, in stillness of air
Held up by love and hopes despair
And even though she walks right through me
She will walk as if i am not there
With deep breathe of lungs she will breath me in
And feel my coolness on her pale skin
For a brief moment in time, i will surround her there
I will soak into her clothes and into her hair
But she will pass and and so will i
as morning sun divides the sky
And i will linger there as long as i can
Bathing in the memory of the one who passed through my hand
As the sun climbs, i’ll have no choice but to melt away
and reappear above that road
at the beginning of another lonely day
